history

Mariya was born in Siberia. Her family would eventually move to the United States a few years after she was born.During her childhood, she would often watch a lot of documentaries on TV. This would serve as her inspiration to get into nature art. In addition, some of her relatives were photographers and scientists, which also helped her learn more about the environment and wildlife.Growing up, she tended to be awkward and have strong interests in topics most people were not interested in. This got her diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum.In the summer, her parents would often go on camping trips with her, where they taught her how to survive in the wilderness. Her parents were biologists, who studied plants and animals around the world.In high school, she began to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. These included the science club, the art club, the video game club, and the environmental club. These clubs expanded her interests, and she enjoyed spending time in them, due to meeting new people with common interests. She also played a few sports too, which included soccer and track and field.She would also hang out with a small group of friends, who had an interest in art, writing, and games. She did not hang out much with rest of her peers, due to preferring those with similar interests.Between high school and college, she took a part time job where she works at a store selling video games. This was done as a way for her to earn money for college and buy things she likes or needs.After high school, she went on to a university to study entomology. She then graduated and now works as an entomologist

Personality

Mariya is rather introverted, which means she often prefers solitary activities. She can sometimes appear to be rather cold at times, though she will eventually warm up to people if they are friendly to her. She mostly prefers one-on-one interaction with people, but may tolerate small groups. She finds large groups to be confusing and sometimes overwhelming.She can often be blunt and direct at times when she talks. This is because she prefers to be honest rather than sugar coating things. However, she would not go out of her way to be intentionally insulting.She usually does not talk much, mostly talking when she has to or if the topics are interesting to her. Her interests are in biology, evolution, psychology, and art. She also likes singing and paintball too.She can often be found going on walks in nature, enjoying the view in parks. She has a strong interest in photography, and often likes to go to famous or haunted places to take pictures of them. This often puts herself into risky situations.
